Great food, nice service always worth a visit.

The first visit to PatJulie's was almost a year ago. Back then with a slightly different line-up, but the impression at that time - was somewhere in the middle / end of September / beginning of October 2019 - was 'curious'. We were very happy that there is a guest garden available here and wanted to enjoy it as soon as possible! Well, the four of us treated ourselves to the first serious cooking and enjoyment test on Christmas 2019. PatJulie was jam-packed at our appointment ... and so was the volume accordingly. Even if one could take this note as 'critical' when we put our drinks, the 'greetings from the kitchen', the starter and then our main course from Max (simply a great and friendliest guest-carer, sommelier, wish-reader-by-the-eyes and Servier-Chef), happy faces were quickly to be seen and tongues to be heard everywhere. My favorite phrase in such a case: "Schmackofatz" - in every respect. For me the (apple) red cabbage, the dumplings, the sauce and the goose leg were a real taste experience of the first category! However, the highlight for me came as a dessert: Pana Cotta (the position was definitely "much too small ......" - that was a Schpässle !!!). So, since this was not our first and last visit to Patrick and Max, there will soon be another review and description from the Easter period that has just passed (I wrote this text on August 20, 2020). Until then, all readers and the curious: visit PatJulie's in Marbach soon - fine cuisine, great hosts and a wonderful atmosphere. I'm curious if there will be any reactions? Mostly very good food, with minor exceptions. The vegan food, for example, tastes okay, but in many cases the consistency is not as good as it would be. On the other hand, meat and fish dishes are very good. The ambience is cozy and modern.

Service and cuisine at such a high level, and cozy and not overbearing. Since many can cut off something. Prices absolutely reasonable and not excessive.

Meanwhile, we were there three times within the last month. Once we were just in the evening to eat something. Once to be baptized our little ones with 15 people and then on Valentine's Day. The three visits had two important things in common: 1. Incredibly good service: whether stroller, extra distribute food for toddlers, homemade decoration for baptism, change seating arrangements, just a high chair or a good wine recommendation: every need is met here. 2. The food is brilliant: the quality and the price-performance ratio class. In addition, it is our view in native cuisine with excellent ingredients that are peppered at one point or another with modern elements. An example would be the greeting from the kitchen on Valentine's Day: lentils with a fried oyster mushroom. Delicious. 3. The friendliness: all employees live for their work and enjoy working with people. Everyone here, especially Patrick and Julia, are available for the PatJuli whose concept and philosophy. The pictures below show what we had on the first visit and we have then repeatedly brought forth here.

Another great evening at PatJuli. Ambience, food, service - everything fits perfectly. Who needs stars? Or a black belt? Mr. Miyagi said: Belt is only there to hold pants ... ;-)

Yesterday we were in PatJuli for the first time and are completely thrilled. The food was on a level, as you would expect from the star kitchen. It was delicious, fresh and artisan absolutely great. The service was very courteous, the atmosphere comfortable, so that you can just feel good. We will definitely go back and hope that the offer will be accepted by others. PatJuli, thank you for the wonderful evening.

We were excited !!! The food is delicious, creative and of the highest quality. The team is young, very friendly and competent. The map varied. For every taste something can be found. The recommended wine we were allowed to try before. At the beginning and end of small delicious treats. The ambience for well-being. Finally there is something really special in my area!

A highly recommended restaurant. The food was just fabulous. The cook is really a master of his craft. The service is extremely pleasant and very accommodating. Not too rigid as you know it from other first class restaurants. The ambience invites invariably to feel at home. All in all, one of the best restaurants I have ever visited. It actually deserves 10 out of 5 stars here.

Decorated with great attention to detail, especially the garden is gorgeous in the summer. Both food and wine absolutely top class!

Phoenix from the ashes - that's how you could say. Recently, the former barn restaurant has reopened. Under new flag. In a new outfit. With a new idea. And with new energy. Elaborately and lovingly renovated, the restaurant presents itself. Noble gray and yet cozy and very comfortable. Great background music when we were there. Warm and unobtrusive service. Creative cuisine, technically exact. Seasonal card with asparagus. The open wine list especially, with great regional vintners (Adelmann, Schnaitmann, Haidle ...). Fine dessert menu. In the meantime, we can justifiably claim to be a small culinary mecca in Marbach (and no, I do not hang it too high now): next to the Golden Lion, Schillerhof, Schillerhöhe and Trattoria La Toscana, there is now an excellent restaurant ... And besides many more culinary offers. We wish the sympathetic team of PatJuli a great start and always a hand's breadth of water under the bow. Toitoitoi and thanks for the nice, delicious evening
